Auditory Landscape - Paradise Creek
This project was constructed as an abstract sound piece which is representational of Paradise Creek in Pullman, WA. It was designed to bring attention to those things which can be overlooked and through the use of isolation, magnification, and exaggeration, alter the listeners experience of it.
This piece was constructed entirely of field recording gathered during the last week of February 2006 and was created for FA 434 - Sound Design.
Appropriated Sound - The Purpose of a Party
This first project of the semester was designed to explore the use of repetition through the patterns and textures of sound. In line with Steve Reich’s It Gonna Rain I choose an interesting piece of audio and attempted to loop it in a compelling and interesting way.
The original sound file was a 1950’s educational film chosen from the Prelinger Archives. This film was designed to teach teenagers how to plan and attend a party, including fun games to play and songs to sing.
Edward R. Murrow - A Student’s Perspective
This short video was prepared for the Northwest premiere of Good Night and Good Luck in the Fall of 2005. The tribute was designed to connect the subject of movie with the Murrow School at Washington State University and its students.
Avid / WSU Case Study
This video was prepared for several NAB/BEA 2005 Workshops in Las Vegas. It showcases how WSU students are utilizing Avid technologies in their education and how this knowledge is preparing them for their careers after college. Avid liked the video so much they even posted it on their corporate web site.
Video Underground 2907
This episode of Video Underground was the final show of the 29th season. It featured a performance by the band Apitomee as well as a updated graphics package. For this episode I edited the final show (including cutting together multiple takes of the live performance), designed and implemented the new graphics package and assisted with lighting and setup activities.
Cable 8 Tri-Fold Display & Recruitment Flyer
This tri fold display was designed for Cable 8 Productions. It is made of three 2×4 foot panels and a topper. It was originally produced in preparation for the WSU Seattle Week recruitment event and has been used at numerous other events over the past few years.
Also, attached is a recruitment flyer announcing the availability of applications for the Cable 8 Board of Directors.

Voices: Tape Open
This video and accompanying graphics package was designed for the Fall 2004 season of Voices, a musical and cultural diversity show on Cable 8. It incorporated various green screen video shots, photoshop graphics and motion elements to create a 25 second open which expressed the vision of the show.
Cougar Apple Crunch
This magazine advertisement was created for the fictional product Cougar Apple Crunch. It was originally designed as part of a Com 295 assignment and utilizes the required imagery, product branding and potential locations for purchase.
