- Apple xSAN 2
- LikeWise Enterprise (AD Integration)
- Signiant (Accelerated Delivery Workflows)
- Adobe Creative Suite 4
- 25 additional pieces of production & productivity software
Addationally planning is currently underway for a major hardware overhaul and expansion including new storage, workstations, Final Cut Server, and addational backup/redundancy systems.
Watchmen Campaign
In anticipation of Warner Brother’s 2009 release of “Watchmen”, NBC.com provided several unique solutions as part of the films extensive marketing campaign. This included a custom micro-site, streaming of the trailer and individual character clips and an extensive on-air integration.
For this campaign I lead the online video efforts, coordinating asset delivery, reformatting the video for web specifications, and overall preparation of seven high-profile clips for distribution.

Superbowl XLIII
Watch ALL the commercials online at NBC.com/super-bowl
For Superbowl XLIII, NBC.com supported the biggest broadcast in television history (151.6 milltion total viewers) with a micosite covering the flavor-of-the-event including the parties, celebrity interviews and of course the commercials!
Throughout the weeks leading up to the event and on gameday, I took the operational lead for ALL of the over 130 video clips posted to the site - including almost 70 on game day alone. This involved setting up initial asset delivery workflows, collecting and entering metadata, deploying assets in real-time on gameday and managing the presentation and organization of the content.
Additionally I coordinated the video component of our “Jumbo-Tron” experience, designed to share exclusive video clips (featuring NBC talent) shown in-stadium during the actual game.

Day of Days 2008
NBC.com takes you inside Day of Days 2008 with exclusive interviews, sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes footage you can’t see anywhere else! Working as the Lead Producer / Editor for NBC.com’s coverage of this event, our team interviewed most of the Days of our Lives cast, talked with fans, and captured the flavor of the event. Additionally I produced, edited, designed branded graphics, and wrote accompanying copy for the video preview above. Complete coverage of the event can be found on the NBC.com Days of our Lives website.

Reality Casting Application
Initially developed for Hallock Healey Entertainment in Los Angeles, Be on TV Now.com provided the production company with an easy-to-use web based reality casting system. Built upon the Taleo Talent Management Platform, the system allowed candidates to submit detailed applications from the comfort of their homes. Once submitted, the system provided backend tools to automatically “knock-out” candidates with significant red-flags, efficiently review & process applications in bulk, and shepherd top talent through the interview and background check process.
For this project I completed initial research resulting in selecting Taleo as our backend solution provider, designed the frontend application template and implemented the backend processing workflow.
In addition to the custom graphics designed for the website, I also created a promotional package including flyers, business cards and other print collateral.

Murrow Marketing Blog
Watch the rest of the videos at: http://www.murrow-blog.com
Produced as an extension of the successful Living the Murrow Legacy videos shot in 2006, this project was designed to promote the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication as a world-class institution to learn the craft of communication. This series of videos was thus produced under the theme of With a Degree from the Murrow School you can go Anywhere! Over the course of 10 days Kate Yeager (’07 Broadcast News) and I traveled to Seattle and then to Los Angeles to interview a number of Murrow alumni working in media. We spoke with them about their WSU experiences, career path, and advice for future students / industry professionals. For this project I acted a the Director and PR Coordinator, including all camera work, lighting, editing and technical coordination.
Live Blog
In addition to the final videos being prepared for the Murrow website and future promotional videos, we maintained a “live-blog” chronicling the road trip, interviews, and adventures along the way. This website (http://www.murrow-blog.com) was very successful with over 5,000 page hits and over 2,000 views of the videos over the 30 day promotional period. Based on the WordPress blogging platform I was able to customize this site under the WSU Identity and provide archives, commenting tools and embedded videos. Additionally we published a video podcast of our trip which is available on the iTunes Music Store as well as several other podcast directories.
Press Releases / News Articles
I was able to coordinate several news articles and press releases promoting the trip. Several of the stories and news releases are linked below:
Murrow Studio A Redesign
During the 2005-2006 academic year I lead pre-design work for a renovation of Cable 8 Productions Studio A at Washington State University. Working with a industry leading system integrator (Diversified Systems) and WSU Facilities Operations we developed a plan to transform our student production studio from out-of-date analog systems to state-of-the-art HD cameras, graphics and productions equipment. Additionally the renovation addressed numerous safety and ADA issues.
With an estimated project cost of $2.4 million dollars the studio is currently waiting on budgetary approval from the WSU Student Government.
